
Poinsettia Cava Cocktail
Ingredients
- 45 ml of Cointreau.
- 60 ml of orange juice.
- 15 ml of lemon juice.
- Cava Brut Castell d’Or Organic (as needed).
- Slice of orange or strawberry for garnish.
The Poinsettia with cava offers a balanced combination of citrus flavors from the orange and lemon, complemented by the sweet and fruity touch of pomegranate. The effervescence of the cava adds an elegant and sophisticated touch.
Preparation
- Chill a glass in the freezer for a few minutes to ensure it is well chilled.
- In a cocktail shaker, add the Cointreau, orange juice, and lemon juice. Shake well to combine these ingredients.
- Add a few ice cubes to the chilled champagne glass.
- Pour the Cointreau and juice mixture into the glass until it’s about halfway full.
- Carefully top up the glass with Brut Castell d’Or Organic Cava almost to the top.
- Gently stir with a bar spoon to mix the ingredients without losing the effervescence of the cava.
- Garnish the cocktail with an orange slice or a strawberry on the rim of the glass.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the Poinsettia cocktail with Cointreau.
