-In the 6th century BC, the Penedès area was inhabited and farmed by an Iberian tribe known as the Cossetans. The area boasts millennia of agricultural tradition, a landscape characterised by hills, forests and, above all, a sea of vines. Vineyards can be found from the seashore up to an altitude of 500 metres, enjoying a variety of microclimates. The Cossetania wines have been recognised for their quality and unique character throughout Spain.

Castell d'Or
Castell d’Or cavas are the result of all the hard, meticulous work carried out by the Group’s Cooperatives. They have been working the land for over 100 years to bring you cavas with a unique personality. Our cava is produced according to the “traditional method”, whereby the bubbles are created inside the bottles, which are then left to rest in the cellars to undergo a period of ageing. We craft cavas that are full of flavours and aromas ensuring that you enjoy an unforgettable drinking experience. Flama d'Or
Flama d’Or is a cava inspired by two of the Castell d’Or Group’ fundamental principles: cherishing the vineyards and respecting the land in the cava-making process. It is also inspired by the elegance and finesse of the various grape varieties that go into its blend. The new label makes a feature of the vine, which springs from the earth like a flame and will give birth to grapes of various varieties which, when blended together, will result in unique wines and cavas.
