The group reaffirms its commitment to organic production by shifting its cava range to 100% organic
Castell d’Or announces the complete renewal of its Cossetània wine and cava range, inspired by the ancestral essence of the Iberian settlement that lends its name to the brand. With an elegant, sophisticated, and sober design, the Cossetània labels aim to convey a deep connection to the land and nature that defined the ancient Cossetans. This redesign responds to the need for a visual modernization that projects Castell d’Or’s current values without losing the essence of a brand with many years in the market. The brand not only reinvents itself visually but also shifts its cava production towards a 100% organic future, in a clear commitment to sustainability and respect for the land.
ANCESTRAL INSPIRATION
The Cossetans, an Iberian tribe established in Catalonia since the 6th century BC, lived in a highly stratified society, with a dominant aristocracy controlling agricultural production. This culture made agriculture a key source of wealth and established a symbolic relationship with the land. This is the spirit reflected today in the Cossetània wines and cavas. Each bottle is a tribute to this civilization, which made the vineyard one of the pillars of its economy and culture.
WINE AND CAVA RANGE
The Cossetània wines are framed within the DO Penedès, reflecting the uniqueness of these landscapes and offering an expression of fruit, freshness, and structure that captivates wine lovers. With special attention to detail, the capsule is inspired by the ceramic decoration crafted by the Cossetans. There are two single varietals in the White Wine from the Xarel·lo variety and the Rosé Wine from the Merlot variety. Meanwhile, the Cossetània Red Wine is a blend of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties.
The Cossetània cava range has also become a consumer favorite, thanks to its undeniable quality, recognized in major wine competitions around the world. This excellence is reflected in labels such as Cossetània Brut Reserva, which won a Gold Medal at the Vinari Awards in the latest edition.
