The group has participated in various international fairs during the last semester of 2022
Castell d’Or continues working on its international strategy of opening new markets. In the last part of the year, the group was concentrating its efforts on Brazil, Asia and North America. The company formed by different cooperatives has been able to participate in four commercial activities focused on consolidating its presence in these countries. Castell d’Or expects to continue growing during the year 2023, boosting its international growth.
- On October 6, Castell d’Or travelled to the United States to participate in the event organized by Catalan Wines, a platform that arranges professional wine meetings in the US to help wine importers, distributors, journalists, sommeliers, restaurateurs, wholesalers and store owners, to connect and learn about wines. The Meadows Museum of Art in Dallas was hosting the event where Castell d’Or was able to show some of its products to local distributors and other specialists.
- Castell d’Or participated last October 17-19 at 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 in Ontario, Canada with the aim of reinforcing this market. The event took place in two cities, Ottawa and Toronto, with more than 30 producers from different countries as participants and some 1,000 guests (professionals from the HORECA sector and private clients). The goal was to acquaint Canadian consumers with the wines of Castell D’Or.
- The group also participated in the 3rd edition of ProWine São Paulo, the main trade fair for the wine and spirits industry in Latin America, which took place from 27 to 29 of September at the Expo Center Norte in this city. This wine fair has the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship. Our cava and wine captured visitors’ interest during the fair, where the program highlighted professional meetings, presentations, and tastings.
- Part of the Export team attended ProWine Singapore 2022. The fair took place from September 5 to 8, 2022 and our products were brought to the Asian market and contacted with key importers, distributors, and suppliers. This fair is a gateway to the South Asian market with seven million potential consumers.
Currently, Castell d’Or is present in 38 countries throughout Europe, Asia and America and has a strong export capacity in the United States, Canada, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, and Russia. The group continues to work to consolidate its international presence and develop new markets.
