The group will show all its novelties at the stand located in HALL 11
Castell d’Or is going to participate at the ProWein International Fair that will be held between March 19 and 21, 2023 in Düsseldorf (Germany). The representatives of the Group will be ready to meet their clients and other visitors at stand A62 in HALL11. Castell d’Or will attend the event with its main brands such as Cabaret, Castell d’Or or Cossetània.
This year the organizers of Prowein are paying a lot of attention to non-alcoholic wines – a trend in the wine sector that is getting stronger in recent years. A special event, World of Zero, dedicated to this relatively new beverage will take place in Hall 1. A big tasting area with dozens of samples of non-alcohol wine from around the world will be available for the visitors of the fair. Castell d’Or presents in this space its 0% Castell d’Or Sparkling Wine, a beverage made using other technology but performing the same quality standards as the rest of the cavas of the company.
The CEO of Castell d’Or, Jordi Amell points out that “the ProWein International Fair is a unique opportunity to make our cava known to a very specialized and knowledgeable public” and adds that “it is a magnificent opportunity to explain the origin of our wines, the terroir from which they are born and the philosophy behind Castell d’Or”. ProWein is the only international trade fair covering the world market and is one of the most important events in the sector.
More than 5,500 exhibiting companies from more than 60 countries will be spread over 13 trade fair halls in Düsseldorf, which are clearly structured by country and region. By the number of exhibitors, the main countries are Italy (more than 1420), France (about 1100), Germany (about 700), Spain (650), Portugal (more than 360), Austria (more than 260), Argentina (more than 120) and Greece (more than 100). ProWein is one of the main events in the sector and a perfect platform to establish contacts and discover new trends and products.
Castell d’Or, the union of 16 wineries
Castell d’Or was born in 2006 as the union of different cooperative cellars from different wine-growing areas of Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat, Tarragona and Montsant. Currently, there are a total of 16 wineries that form one of the most representative groups in Catalonia. They unite their efforts and knowledge of production, elaboration, packaging and distribution of wine, cava and oil, in order to raise the quality standard of their products and to obtain worldwide recognition for their brands.
