The Cava Cabaret Brut and the Cava Castell d’Or Brut Reserva Imperial have stood out with this award, which recognizes their quality and character

Castell d’Or has been awarded two medals at the MUNDUS VINI WINE AWARD 2024, which takes place in Germany twice a year. In its spring edition, Cava Cabaret Brut and Cava Castell d’Or Brut Reserva Imperial have secured a place among the top recognitions of this contest.

Castell d’Or cavas achieve these accolades in one of the most prestigious competitions in the international wine industry, for the fifth consecutive year, thus solidifying their recognition in the European market. The group’s CEO, Jordi Amell, has expressed satisfaction with the continued success of Castell d’Or cavas in these international competitions, highlighting the tireless dedication of the winemakers and production teams in creating products of exceptional quality and unique personality. “Our cavas are representatives of the essence of the Cava region, capturing the charm of our terroir, tradition, but also innovation,” stated Amell.

Cava Cabaret Brut, winner of a gold medal, is a perfect example of this blend of tradition and modernity. It is a classic blend of Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada that exudes vibrant freshness, with subtle notes of fruit and wildflowers, a highly expressive product that captures the spirit of Cabaret and the passion for life.

On the other hand, Cava Castell d’Or Brut Reserva Imperial, renowned for its complexity and elegance, is the result of over 24 months of aging. It is characterized by exceptional depth and aromatic richness. With its delicate touches of white fruit and aniseed notes, this cava embodies the dedication in producing a top-quality cava.

A prestigious international award

The Mundus Vini International Wine Competition was founded by the leading editorial house in the wine sector, Meininger Verlag, and has been one of the most prominent wine competitions in the world of wine and cava.
