Over 600 members have visited the new facilities of the Castell d’Or group during the months of February, March, and April as part of the open days organized by the company for members of all cooperatives within the group. These visits coincide with the recent official inauguration of the group’s facilities, which were opened by the Minister of Climate Action, Food, and Rural Agenda, Teresa Jordà, on February 4.

During the visits, members have had the opportunity to closely explore Castell d’Or’s new facilities, which occupy an area of 9,700 square meters and include two cellars with a capacity for 10.5 million bottles and 1,053 pallets, as well as a logistics warehouse of over 1,800 square meters and a new packaging line that will double production. They have also visited the new offices and social space, which will allow the group to provide more personalized attention to its customers.

Castell d’Or has organized the visits on Saturdays and Sundays in February, March, and April, and members have been able to reserve their spot by contacting the offices of their cooperative. These visits have been a unique opportunity for members to firsthand experience the new facilities and get closer to the reality of the project. The group’s president, Adrià Rabadà, has ensured that “from Castell d’Or, we have always defended that our success is the result of the effort and work of more than 2,600 families that are part of our cooperatives. Therefore, it is a pride for us to see that so many members have shown interest in getting to know our facilities and our way of doing things up close. We will continue working with this same spirit of cooperation and commitment to the territory and the people who comprise it.”

The group’s CEO, Jordi Amell, has also positively evaluated the response of its members and has highlighted “the importance of their involvement and support for the future of the group.” In this regard, two weekends in May have been scheduled to conclude the visits due to the interest generated. The group’s cooperatives currently number 16 and can be consulted at the following link.
