A design inspired by nature and the unique character of each wine proposition
Castell d’Or presents a complete renovation of its entire range of wines during Barcelona Wine Week, taking place in Pavilion 8 of the Barcelona Fair until 7 February. This Fair, recognized as one of the most important events in the wine calendar, brings together experts and professionals from the world of wine. It is an ideal framework in which to present the latest developments and trends in the sector, and Castell d’Or did not want to miss this opportunity to talk about its redesign.
The Group is committed to continuing to highlight its origins with a new image that aims to capture the natural essence of where its wines are born. The brand presents an image with a current and artistic style. The new labels are inspired by nature, flora, fauna, and the environment and are intended to be emotive and offer enjoyment. Castell d’Or wines capture the essence of the land where the winegrowers carefully tend the vines and the fruit. The wind, the land, the climate, wildflowers, and fauna forge the character of these wines.
The brand conveys the character of the product with a new image based on naturalness and elegance. Each label subtly captures the key elements that define each wine proposition. Castell d’Or, named “the best winery in Catalonia 2023” for its products, wishes to convey its connection with nature, the land, and quality to consumers. Each wine made with a different grape variety or a blend of several varieties is represented with an illustration that captures its essence and characteristics. The illustration takes the shape of an open door to connect with the natural and sensory origin of each wine proposition.
In addition to the image revamp, Castell d’Or is also presenting several new products within its wine range. New grape varieties, such as White Grenache and Old Vine Grenache from Terra Alta, have now been included in the range and promise to surprise the most demanding palates.
The Barcelona Wine Week has also been chosen as the stage to introduce this new Castell d’Or brand range and present this year’s wines. With this revamp, Castell d’Or is reaffirming its commitment to winemaking excellence and constant innovation. It seeks to place the consumer at the center and enhance their experience by evoking sensations and emotions found in nature, such as the presence of fauna, wildflowers surrounding the vines, the breeze, birds, and the harmony of nature, highlighting its value throughout the production process.
Castell d’Or was born in 2005 from the union of different wineries from different wine regions of Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat, Tarragona, Terra Alta, and Montsant. There are currently a total of 16 wineries that are part of one of Catalonia’s most representative groups. They work together, combining their efforts and knowledge in the production, packaging and distribution of wines, cavas, and olive oils, raising the standard of quality of their products to obtain recognition and prestige for their brands around the world.
