Castell d’Or will feature a larger, more modern space that reflects the evolution of the group and will be located in Hall 8.
Castell d’Or will once again be present at Barcelona Wine Week (BWW), to be held from February 2 to 4, 2025, at the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona. In this new edition, the wine group takes a step forward with the presentation of a completely renewed stand—larger and more personalized—designed to showcase in a comprehensive way the project, values, and enological diversity of Castell d’Or.
The group’s stand will be located in Hall 8, Level 0, Street D, Stand 188, and for the first time will feature a custom-designed space that highlights both its visual identity and the quality of its wines and cavas. This new stand concept reflects the evolution of the group and its commitment to strengthening its presence in both national and international markets.
Over the three days of the show, Castell d’Or’s commercial team will welcome professional visitors to present the latest vintages ready for launch, as well as the full range of Castell d’Or wines, produced under different designations of origin. Participation in BWW once again represents a key opportunity to establish new business contacts and to consolidate relationships with distributors and importers.
Castell d’Or will take advantage of its presence at the fair to showcase proposals that reinforce its commitment to quality, sustainability, and the local territory. The new products strengthen the group’s focus on sustainability and respond to the growing demand from consumers, who are increasingly interested in environmentally friendly products. One of the highlights is a single-varietal cava with over 24 months of aging, a distinctive proposal that will undoubtedly surprise visitors at Barcelona Wine Week.
Participation in BWW will also mark the beginning of an ambitious international promotion plan for Castell d’Or looking ahead to 2026. This plan includes trade missions and participation in international trade fairs and specialized exhibitions around the world, with the aim of introducing its products to distributors, importers, retail chains, and the hospitality sector. Among the key upcoming events, the group will attend Wine Paris and ProWein Düsseldorf next March.
Castell d’Or, the strength of 16 wineries united
Castell d’Or was founded in 2005 through the union of wineries from various wine-growing regions such as Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat, Tarragona, and Terra Alta, as well as the Cava Designation of Origin. Today, the group is made up of 16 wineries, making it one of the most significant cooperative projects in the Catalan wine sector.
The combined efforts and expertise of the member cooperatives allow for the optimization of production, winemaking, bottling, and distribution processes, raising the quality standards of the group’s wines and cavas. This collaborative work has been recognized with numerous awards, including the distinction of Best Winery in Catalonia for two consecutive years at the Vinari Awards, one of the most prestigious wine competitions at the national level.
