In this edition, the brand takes a step forward with two new references that expand its range of wines under the Castell d’Or brand, reaffirming its commitment to quality and the diversity of Catalan viticulture:

  • Castell d’Or Macabeo White Wine – DO Tarragona: Made exclusively from the Macabeo variety, this wine expresses the freshness and subtle elegance characteristic of DO Tarragona. With a delicate aromatic profile, it offers notes of white fruit and flowers, with vibrant acidity that brings great liveliness and persistence on the palate. Ideal for pairing with light fish dishes, seafood, and soft cheeses.

  • Castell d’Or Parellada White Wine – DO Catalunya: This single-varietal Parellada wine pays tribute to one of the region’s most traditional grape varieties. It stands out for its aromatic complexity, with citrus nuances, ripe white fruit, and a subtle aniseed touch that adds freshness and distinction. Its structure and balance make it a versatile wine, perfect for pairing with rice dishes, vegetable-based meals, and Mediterranean cuisine.

These new wines join Castell d’Or’s already established range of wines and cavas, strengthening its position as a benchmark in the Catalan wine sector and showcasing its commitment to quality and authenticity.

Additionally, one of the main highlights of Barcelona Wine Week is the complete renewal of its Cossetània range of wines and cavas, a collection that pays homage to the historical legacy of the Iberian settlement that inspires the brand. This redesign brings a more elegant, sophisticated, and refined aesthetic, with labels that emphasize the connection with the land and nature.

Beyond the visual aspect, this transformation represents a strong commitment to sustainability, consolidating the production of 100% organic cava and reaffirming Castell d’Or’s dedication to the region and the environment.

Barcelona Wine Week serves as a key platform to showcase the sector’s dynamism and innovation, and Castell d’Or participates with the aim of continuing to grow and sharing its commitment to quality, tradition, and sustainability with wine professionals and enthusiasts alike.
