Appearance
Intense cherry red hue.
Nose
Hints of liquorice and ripe black fruit (jam), deep, complex fragrances, graphite and toasted notes.
Palate
Good structure on the palate, well-balanced acidity, smooth tannins and a long, lingering finish.
Food pairings
This powerful, robust, fragrant and penetrating wine originates from our oldest Garnacha and Cariñena vineyards where the vines are is 50 years old on average. All of them are very low yielding and are planted on terraces of dark slate, which lends the wine its special mineral taste.
Best drinking time
This is a wine which, thanks to its qualities, promises to age well in the bottle if stored in the right conditions.

Roasts, red meats, grilled meats, game dishes, cheeses, etc.
