Terms and conditions of purchase
The Legal Notice published on this website identifies the owner as established in Art. 10 of the Law on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce and contains information about the personal data protection policy.
The products offered on this page are intended for consumption, so the sales contract is concluded at the moment when the client gives explicit confirmation of their order. For this reason, CASTELL D’OR, S.L. recommends reading the entire legal notice and these general conditions before accepting the order.
The current contract is entered into within the legal framework established for Electronic Commerce by Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, taking into account Law 7/1996 of January 15th on Retail Trade Regulation, Law 7/1998 of April 13th on General Contracting Conditions, Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of November 16th, which approves the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users, and Law 3/2014 of March 27th. The contracting conditions are as follows:
Product Features. The features of the products offered on this site appear on the screen alongside their visual identification.
Prices. The prices in effect at the time of order placement as listed on the website will apply. The price of the products is detailed next to each one. VAT is included and is later itemized during the purchase process.
Languages in which the order can be placed: Spanish, English, and Catalan.
Shipping: Exclusively to the Iberian Peninsula. Shipping to the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands is not available.
Steps to place orders. You must select the items you are interested in by indicating the number of units and clicking the “add to cart” button to add them to your shopping cart. At any time, you can view the content of your shopping cart, where you will see the selected items, their price, taxes, and shipping costs. From this same window, before submitting the order, you can correct, change, or cancel the selected products.
When you have finished selecting products, click on the “cart” option and “next.” If you are registered as a user, you will need to provide your credentials; otherwise, you must provide your email address and create an account with your personal information. Once the user data is validated, the delivery address will be confirmed, and the shipping method will be chosen.
Subsequently, it will be necessary to accept the Purchase Conditions by checking an acceptance box. As a final step, you must choose the payment method and will be redirected to the payment gateway. Once the process is completed, you will receive confirmation of the purchase made.
Order Tracking. Once the order is placed, it will be archived so that it can be accessed online until it has been delivered.
Order Receipt Confirmation. Each time the company receives an order, a confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours of receipt, except if received on holidays or weekends, in which case the confirmation will be sent on the next business day following receipt.
Payment Methods. CASTELL D’OR, S.L. offers several ways to accept order payments, each with high security standards to ensure payment with complete confidence.
Payment for products will be made using one of the methods indicated below:
- Credit Card Payment. Visa or MasterCard. The client can choose to pay by credit card, in which case the transaction will be confirmed at the moment the order is placed.
- Bank Transfer Payment. The client must make a bank transfer for the total amount of the transaction to the account indicated by the seller. A maximum period of three business days is established from the order confirmation to receive the payment. If this period elapses without the transfer being completed, the order will be automatically canceled, and the contract will be considered terminated. The client must include the following information in the transfer:
- DNI or NIF and the name of the individual or legal entity to be invoiced for the order.
- Order number, automatically assigned by the system upon completion of the purchase process, in the transfer’s subject line.
- Indicate CASTELL D’OR, S.L. as the transfer beneficiary.
Right of Withdrawal.
In accordance with the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users, the client will have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without needing to provide justification, unless legally exempted.
The withdrawal period will end 14 calendar days from the day the contract is concluded. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the client must notify their decision to withdraw from the contract through an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by postal mail, fax, or email). The client may use the withdrawal form provided below, although its use is not mandatory. Both the email and postal address to which the request may be sent are listed at the end of these purchase conditions.
To determine compliance with the withdrawal period, the date of the withdrawal statement’s dispatch will be considered. CASTELL D’OR, S.L. will promptly inform the client on a durable medium of the receipt of this withdrawal, in case the right is exercised via email.
CASTELL D’OR, S.L. will refund all payments received from the client, including, where applicable, delivery costs, without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 calendar days from the date it was informed of the client’s decision to withdraw from the contract. CASTELL D’OR, S.L. will carry out the refund using the same payment method used by the client for the initial transaction unless the client expressly states otherwise and provided that the client does not incur any expenses as a result of the refund. However, if the client has expressly chosen a delivery method other than the least expensive ordinary delivery method, CASTELL D’OR, S.L. is not obliged to refund the additional costs resulting from this. It is essential that CASTELL D’OR has received the products that constitute the return order in perfect condition.
Returns
The client must return the products that constitute the return order to CASTELL D’OR, S.L. in perfect condition, without undue delay, and, in any case, no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which they communicate their decision to withdraw from the contract to CASTELL D’OR, S.L.. This period will be considered fulfilled if the client returns the goods before the 14 calendar days have expired. The client will bear the direct costs of returning the order.
The client will be responsible for any decrease in the value of the items resulting from handling them in a way other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, or functionality.
Withdrawal Form. CASTELL D’OR, S.L. provides this form to clients who have purchased a product on this website and wish to withdraw from the sales contract. However, to facilitate the right of withdrawal, all fields of this form must be completed by the client:

Shipping Methods, Delivery Time, and Transport
Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are not included in the price of the products offered on the website. Shipping costs will appear for the user’s express acceptance before finalizing the purchase process and once the user has provided the delivery address for the order. You can view the costs listed on the invoice. In the case of merchandise return (Art. 44 of the Retail Trade Regulation Law), the shipping costs will be borne by the client.
CASTELL D’OR, S.L. will charge shipping costs for each delivery. The minimum order is 6€, including VAT plus shipping. The order will remain pending until all products are available. If the client wishes to receive partial orders, they must contact CASTELL D’OR, S.L. to be instructed on the procedure to follow. To avoid delays in delivering available products, CASTELL D’OR, S.L. recommends not mixing reserved products with available products from the catalog and placing separate orders.
Delivery Time and Transport: CASTELL D’OR, S.L. uses the Correos Express and Nàcex agencies for its shipments. The average delivery time is between 72 and 96 hours depending on the delivery address for products in our stock, for the rest of the products, it will be 7 business days from the time of order placement, provided that the order was placed from Monday to Friday before 5 pm. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday are prepared starting on Monday or the first business day. The current shipping areas are the Iberian Peninsula. We dont’ send to the Balearic Islands.
Pricing Policy. CASTELL D’OR, S.L. unilaterally reserves the right to modify the price of the products offered through this website; the prices in effect at the time of order placement as listed in the advertisement will apply to ensure the customer the accuracy of the product prices.
