The group received the largest number of medals during this year’s edition of the most-known awards in Catalonia<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Vila-rodona, October 9, 2023.- The Castell d’Or group received the award for Best Winery of the Year at the Vinari Awards Gala<\/strong> that took place this weekend. This award is the most significant and representative in Catalonia since almost all local wineries participate in this competition. Prior to be recognized the best cellar Castell d’Or received nine medals – two gold and seven silver \u2013 for the best wines in different categories. So it has become the most awarded winery of Catalonia in 2023.<\/p>\n

The CEO of Castell d’Or, Jordi Amell went up on stage many times and each time in his welcoming speech he said thanks to the work and effort shown by the team of Castell d’Or. \u201cThis recognition would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of the entire team who strive to make the company’s mission possible<\/strong>,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

Mr Amell stressed that the award represents the result of a collective effort that involves a wide range of cooperatives that, thanks to their collaboration, have managed to make the Castell d’Or project a success story: \u201cWe are deeply grateful for the support of all members of this great family and we are excited to continue working together towards an even more promising future,\u201d<\/strong> he said. This Vinari Award is a recognition of the strong commitment and passion of Castell d’Or to offer wines and cavas of superior quality.<\/p>\n

The Gala celebration took place at the centenary Teatro Casal and the actor and Catalan comedian Pep Plaza was the host of the event. It was a culmination of an entire year of activity, in which up to five preliminary and two final tastings were held. Members of the jury \u2013 more than hundred professionals of wine business, have blindly tested and evaluated nearly a thousand different references. Each wine and cava from Castell d’Or has passed the olfactory, gustatory and aromatic examination of a minimum of ten people in The event, this year as the previous ones, was broadcast and could be followed live on Catalan TV.<\/p>\n
